Finally, a chewy PB cookie I can get behind!

Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies:

1 cup shortening
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 Tbsp hot water water
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups flour

preheat oven to 350.

cream shortening and sugars and peanut butter.

dissolve baking soda in water and add to mixture.

beat in eggs and vanilla.

stir in flour and salt.

bake for 10 minutes.
